Maintenance Organisations
Austro Control GmbH as the certification and surveillance authority is responsible for the following tasks in regard of maintenance organisations for aircraft:
- Certification and surveillance of Part 145 approved organisations
- Certification and surveillance of Part CAO approved organisations
- Certification and surveillance of approved maintenance organisations according to Zivilluftfahrzeug und -geräte Verordnung (ZLLV)
- Advising of applicants for maintenance organizations and organisations maintaining aircraft or components
- Surveillance of FAR 145 approved organisations in accordance with the BASA/MIP arrangement with the United States of America
- Certification and surveillance of Part 145 approved organisations outside the EU on behalf of EASA
