Production and Design Organisations
Austro Control GmbH as the certification and surveillance authority is responsible for the following tasks in regard of design and production organisations for aircraft and aircraft components:
- Certification, surveillance and consultation of Part 21 approved production organisations for aircraft and aircraft components
- Agreement and surveillance of Part 21 Subpart F approved production organisations
- Certification and surveillance of approved maintenance organisations according to Zivilluftfahrzeug und -geräte Verordnung (ZLLV)
- Certification and surveillance of Part 21 approved production organisations for aircraft and aircraft components outside the EU on behalf of EASA
- Certification, surveillance and consultation of national approved production organisations for aircraft and aircraft components
- Certification, surveillance and consultation of Part 21 approved design organisations in Austria on behalf of EASA
