Restart of Pilot Examinations planned for 08.02.2021

Hereby, we would like to inform that Austro Control is planning to restart the pilot examinations on 08.02.2021.
From the above mentioned date onwards, Austro Control will offer additional dates for all interested candidates, hereby, trying to provide everyone with an alternate date as soon as possible. The additional exam appointments will be on Saturdays from 08:00 to 14:00.

All candidates must observe the following, strictly mandatory safety measures. Not adhering to them will lead to not being able to take the exams:
  • All candidates are required to wear a FFP2 mask (or a mask with at least an equivalent standard (e.g. KN95, N95, etc.) without a valve for the entire duration of the examination. The mentioned mask has to be brought by the respective candidate himself!
  • The minimum distance of two meters has to be kept during the whole time in the facilities of Austro Control.
  • Break times are to be kept as short as possible and may only be taken individually

In addition, Austro Control works together with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to extend the affected deadlines for the successful completion of the pilot examinations.  Our ZPH FCL16 informs about corresponding results, see ZPH_LFA_LSA_026.pdf (austrocontrol.at)
