Pilot examinations resumed

We would like to inform you that the pilot examinations at Austro Control GmbH are taking place according to schedule. Likewise, operations at the external examination centres in Austria will be resumed.
Austro Control will offer additional exam dates in the interest of all candidates to enable to find an alternative date in a timely manner. We will inform about relevant free exam slots at examinations@austrocontrol.at.

All candidates are requested to accept the following protective measures. These are mandatory in order to be able to take an exam:
  • All candidates are required to wear an FFP2 mask (or a mask with at least an equivalent standard (e.g. KN95, N95, etc.) without a valve for the entire duration of the examination. The mentioned mask has to be brought by the respective candidate himself!
  • The minimum distance of two meters has to be kept during the whole time in the premises of Austro Control.
  • Break times are to be kept as short as possible and may only be taken individually

In addition, Austro Control has successfully lobbied with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for an extension of the affected deadlines for the completion of the pilot examinations. For the corresponding result, please refer to our ZPH FCL 16 (austrocontrol.at).
